Basic website statistics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, traffic sources, approximate location, browser and device types, and which public foundation pages are useful. It runs automatically on eligible public pages without an opt-in popup. We also count a few general actions, such as opening the learning library, following an App Store link, joining a class, or choosing an email or phone contact link. We do not send the email address, phone number, or message to Analytics.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies with pseudonymous identifiers to distinguish visits; these cookies are configured for up to 180 days. These statistics do not identify named visitors or count every person exactly. We disable Google advertising signals, advertising personalization, automatic form and search measurement, and automatic interaction collection.

What we keep out of Analytics

Our integration does not run on patient-toolkit pages, including health guides, symptoms, worksheets, and clinical-reference pages. It does not send private notes, checklist entries, searches, form contents, contact details, individual manual identifiers, or URL query strings and fragments. Referring addresses are limited to an external website’s origin or an approved public foundation page.

Privacy settings and coverage

We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by keeping Analytics off. We also leave Analytics off for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland rather than request consent through a popup. If country eligibility cannot be determined, Analytics remains off. Analytics blockers and browser settings can also prevent a visit being counted.

You can turn off this site’s Analytics in your browser without affecting access to any pages. This choice is stored locally. Turning it off stops future collection and removes this site’s accessible Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already processed by Google.

Other website services

Our hosting provider receives normal connection information needed to serve pages, such as IP address, requested URL, time, and browser information. Embedded YouTube videos, PDF providers, App Store links, Zoom, social media, and other external websites use their own privacy practices when you access them.

Google and questions

Google processes Analytics data under its Privacy Policy. You can also read how Google uses information from partner sites or use Google’s Analytics opt-out tool.
