Our purpose
For families living in homes made of hay, severe weather can mean losing shelter. With support from donors and people working locally, we help replace these vulnerable homes with small, permanent structures at deeply reduced cost. The goal is practical and lasting: greater safety, stability, and dignity for rural families.
Two distinct areas of support
Homes made of hay can be damaged or destroyed by severe weather. With donor support and people working locally, we help families in rural India build small, permanent structures at deeply reduced cost. This work focuses on safer shelter, stability, and a place families can call their own.
Our separate student-support effort provides laptops and iPads to students who need technology for school. These devices help students access educational resources and participate in digital learning. Alongside our housing work, this initiative addresses a different need: the tools to learn and pursue new opportunities.
