Greenify the World
Plants are very important to the world, including the environment and us. Plants and trees provide us fresh oxygen to breathe daily. In 2018, we have started to plant different trees and plants not only outdoor but indoors. At The Village School, plants are now placed inside throughout the entire school to benefit the students. They help to brighten the day and boost the morale of students. As long as they are taken care of, plants also keep students productive. We have also planted different fruits, vegetables, and flowers around our house to beautify the area and make it healthier for others. When we planted the various fruits and vegetables, we did not have to go out and buy those plants; we simply took the seeds from various fruits and vegetables (cucumbers, tomato, bell peppers, papaya, etc) and planted them in soil. We created a vegetable garden where we decorated all of our newly harvested and grown plants. Additionally, we also placed various growing plants and flowers around different parts of the porch and backyard. To further spread the importance of greenery and plants, we gave each senior citizen at The Gardens of Bellaire a plant as a gift. Not only did they enjoy this gift, but it also allows them to spend their time taking care of the plant. This is an ongoing project that we plan on spreading, encouraging other people to keep plants inside and outside their homes.
